Ammo has to come DOWN

Really-- its in a bubble and I dont do bubbles or anyone with sense does. The iraq war ends -- Oil drops $50 overnight-- Ammo drops as well. I will admit were in a huge commodity bull but things went up to fast to quick. The planets/ fundamentals are lined up hugely for SHTF so take out a BIG PREP insurance policy there. A corrections coming then back up and thru the hemisphere. Im not panicing Yet. The survival stores that sell MTN House and all the gizmos are cutting a fat hog-- and there getting greedy-- Want to make $ open a webstore selling SHTF items. Kinda like y2K all over again.Thats the big fear perps. Looking at the chart patterns and short-term fundamentals thigs will correct big-- then we jump back in with all we have.

Yes ts will htf but Im not panicking like the Internet is telling us. We have time-- so calm down and do it by the start of next summer. Gun controll must be considered as on the table next year.

Breaking the nut of all cash to buying big ticket items at athe huge discount coming will take a lot of focus.

Lots of inflation still to come in items like, food, energy, and raw materials (copper, brass, lead). Housing will continue to deflate, but with helicopter Ben (an admitted inflationist) don't expect deflation in things you really need.

Go read his speech from 2002 at the fed reserve website called Deflation, making sure it does not happen here.

http://www.federalreserve.gov/BOARDD...21/default.htm

In the long run you are right, but when the real deflation hits, it will be chaos.

Some perspective...

In the inflationary late 70's if I recall correctly, I was able to buy fresh surplus Lake City M80 7.62 Nato (308) for 18 cents per round and Winchester Q3131 5.56 for about the same (and did).

Today we are only paying (when we were still able to find it) about 40 to 50 cents per round...so in 30 years ammo cost inflation has only increased by ~150%. That's not very much considering the current price of food, energy, necessities, and other commodities. But I know it will probably get much worse from here...

The key was to pay attention, see what's coming, and stay ahead of the curve (price hikes) by "buying it cheap and stacking it deep". Those who didn't got stung pretty good.

As far as the war in Iraq/Afghanistan ending soon, US troops coming home, and the price of ammo dropping...I don't see that happening any time soon...if ever.

Ammo, like everything else (except wages), will continue to rise steadily.

The Iraq War is NOT going to end in your lifetime. In fact, we will soon have an Iran War.

Unfortunately I also don't see ammo coming down in price either. Probably best to put away a bit - even if its only an extra box or so if you visit Walmart.
Take care,

I bought enough to kill all my neighbors for $30. I think that's a pretty good deal:s1:

LOL LOLOLL:emotions16:Funny wit there....

Agree gotta keep acumulating but Oil futures markets have to correct and this super comm bull which should last 10 more years will have a correction eventually--- my point is have some cash for that time. Or we may be in for unprecedented bull with no relief in sight.

It was said that if your underweight Gold then it dosent mattEr what the price is '''BUYYYYYYYYYYYYYY'''

You have to admit anykind of drawdown in Iraq / ME is a possibility.

Nothing goes straight up forever :mad_m: I think?

All I can say is thank out lucky stars were awake
